In this beginner's guide to Deadlock, we provide an overview of the game, its gameplay mechanics, hero recommendations for newcomers, and beginner-friendly items. The goal of this guide is to help new players understand the basics of the game, develop effective strategies, and progress towards becoming skilled players in Deadlock.
Introduction
Deadlock is a 6v6 Shooter MOBA played from a third-person perspective, featuring four distinct lanes, each playing a crucial role in team battles. During gameplay, players must farm gold, defend their base, upgrade skills, and purchase items to empower their heroes. The primary objective is to destroy the enemy team's base entirely, a concept similar to traditional MOBAs, but with the added thrill of third-person action and intense combat. Strategic planning and teamwork are essential for securing victory.

Lanes
The map in Deadlock is divided into four main lanes, each requiring strategic movement and control. Planning your lane positioning carefully and coordinating with your team can give you a significant advantage in the match. Lanes 2 and 4 are occupied by two players on each side, while lanes 1 and 3 have one player per side.
